These are 100% PURE Chocolate Bantam Orpingtons. We have worked very diligently over the past year to add to our flock and increase our gene pool. We are proud to say that we now have the most diverse genetic line of chocolates of any breeders! We have line from the two top importers in the US - plus our own imported line of chocolates from Orpingtons Galore AND we have breed these lines together to create our own line of chocolates - plus we have used imported blacks from Orpingtons Galore to help in the color. These are Bantams and not Large Fowl; we do have the large fowl Chocolate Orpingtons and will be releasing them in the late Spring / Summer of 2013.

These are bantams / not large fowl and we have worked to decrease the size to arrive to between 3 and 4 lbs. Therefore these will be smaller than some of the original imported Chocolate Bantams that arrived to the US in 2011.

The breeding of Chocolate to Chocolate over time will lighten the color. In order to maintian a rich Chocolate color - we breed our Chocolate roosters back to black hens and our black rooster back to chocolate hens.

		Here are the ratios:

		1) Chocolate Male x Chocolate Female = 100% Chocolate

		2) Chocolate Male x Black Female = 50% Split Black Males / 50% Chocolate Females

		3) Black Split Male x Black Female = 25% Black Split Males / 25% Black Males / 25% Chocolate Females / 25% Black Females.

		4) Black Split Male x Chocolate Female = 25% Chocolate Males / 25% Black Split Males / 25% Chocolate Females / 25% Black Females.

These bids are extremely rare, beautiful and are considered to have one of the greatest temperaments of any bird that we have raised. They exhibit a rich chocolate color and have some of the softest 'fluffy' feathers I have ever seen on a bird.

You will not be disappointed with the deep rich chocolate color of these birds. There are no words that we can put here to describe these birds...they are a must see in person. The minimum order quantity is 4 on these chicks, or combine with another order.

		* THESE CHOCOLATE ORPINGTON CHICKS ARE SOLD STRAIGHT RUN AND WILL BE BETWEEN 15 DAYS AND 20 DAYS OLD DEPENDING ON ROTATION *

The Isbar (pronounced ‘ice bar’), was developed in Sweden around 1950 by Martin Silverudd. The breed comes in blue, black, white or splash. It is important to note that while blue is the favorite color of the Isbar, blue Isbars will produce blue, black, white (with a grey touch) or splash chicks. Do not be fooled when buying blue Isbars that all of your offspring will be blue - that is not the case. Additionally to continue the beautiful rich blue color you will need a combination of the other colors for breeding genetics.

They lay about 250 mossy green color eggs per year. The shade of the egg will vary slightly - but all will have a green tint. The roosters have sharp metallic hackles, mostly blue body feathers (if they are blue variety) and weight about 5.5 lbs. The hens are blue (if they are blue variety) and weight about 4.5 lbs. They are a fairly docile, cold-hearty, easy-going bird and generally pretty good free ranging.

There are cases where we have heard these are auto-sexing like the Cream Legbar - however we are of the opinion that is primarily absent and traditional vent sexing is used to determine the sex. We are not accurate in vent sexing - therefore we sell these chicks as straight run only.

WE ALWAYS TRY TO SHIP 1 TO 2 BLUES WITH EACH ORDER. YOU WILL NEED BLACKS AND SPLASHES TO INCREASE THE QUALITY OF YOUR BLUES. *

The Cream Legbar is an auto-sexing chick meaning that you can tell the sex of the chick at hatch, The males will have a pale dot on their head and have little or no eye barring. The females will have a dark brown or stripe on their head that continues down the back. You should not confuse auto-sexing with sex-linked. Sex-linked are chicks that are first generation crosses defining the sex and this trait will not continue to their offspring. Auto-sexing are chicks like the Cream Legbar that show defining sex traits that will continue to their offspring. This auto-sexing feature will happen with Cream Legbars for generations no matter if the pair are related or un-related.

If you are looking for a way to expand your hens and gather more eggs - what better way to do it then to cull the roosters at hatch? The rising cost of feed makes this very economical to raise only the hens for egg production.

The Cream Legbar is a medium sized bird with the roosters weighing approximately 5 lbs and the hens approximately 4 lbs. The beautiful barring coloring on the males are traits that can be traced back to their ancestors, the Plymouth Barred Rock. The breed can be aggressive in protecting their mate and are very alert of their surroundings. Their alertness makes them a great breed for living outdoors on the farm.

One other neat feature of the Cream Legbar is the sky blue or green olive tint eggs. The egg color makes them quite distinguishable when gathering.

Cream Legbars are medium-sized fowl that are known for their active foraging and ability to survive in a free-range environment. The roosters are vigilant and protective of the hens, and the hens efficiently go about the business of gleaning every seed and insect from the fields and pastures they prefer. They are well-suited for the small homestead and life outdoors.

Here is a way to add some beautiful color to your flock. Our Swedish Flower Hens have some of the most beautiful array of colors. We have line from the two top importers in the US - plus our own imported line of chocolates from Orpingtons Galore AND we have breed these lines together to create our own line of chocolates - plus we have used imported blacks from Orpingtons Galore to help in the color. These are Bantams and not Large Fowl; we are working on acquiring Large Fowl Chocolate Orpingtons.

These are 100% pure English Chocolate Orpingtons and are not splits, crosses or mixes of any kind!! The offspring of these birds will produce 100% pure English Chocolate Orpingtons.

**BEWARE THAT BREEDERS WILL BREED ENGLISH CHOCOLATE ORPINGTONS BACK TO AMERICAN STANDARD BLACK BANTAMS. THE END RESULT WILL BE A BIRD THAT DOES HAVE THE CHOCOLATE COLOR - BUT DOES NOT EXHIBIT THE 'FLUFFY' LOOK NOR THE BEAUTY OF A PURE ENGLISH CHOCOLATE ORPINGTON. WE BREED BACK TO IMPORTED ENGLISH BLACK ORPINGTONS TO MAINTAIN OUR COLOR.**

Our flock is strictly feed Purina Feed along with Oyster Grit and other vitamins to insure a healthy flock. Our coup is 100% covered, heated roosts, padded nests, lighted pens, automated 100 Micron filtered waterer and feeder to provide the upmost comfort to our birds. We believe a happy and healthy bird lays the best quality eggs which in turn produce healthy chicks.

Unlike the other hatching eggs that you might see listed on various other sites, we can assure you our flock is NPIP, given the best feed/vitamins, received filtered water, and are nurtured in a coop that we proudly say creates the most pampered environment for our birds. People who visit the farm are amazed at the detail and the expense in creating such a Taj Mahal for our birds – but we are proud of our birds and want our customers to receive the highest quality bird available. The beauty and statue of these birds are simply amazing!

NPIP # GA-1153 - TESTED EACH QUARTER - WE TEST FOR CLEAN FOR PULLORUM TYPHOID, MYCOPLASMA GALLISEPTICUM, M.G. MONITORED, AND MS. MONITORED. Here it is....the quality of the Grand Slam riflescopes in a binocular. These 25mm objective lenses gather 15% more light than the most 25mm lenses, and phase-coated roof prisms produce a sharper image with less glare. Multi-coated lenses provide you with the brightest images possible. In fact, light transmission is so superior that Grand Slams give you an extra half an hour of visibility at dawn and dusk compared to standard binoculars. Grand Slam binoculars are dry nitrogen gas purged to prevent fogging in the worst conditions.

Twist-up eyecups protect ocular lenses while offering you continuous adjustment of eye relief. Rubber armor makes them extremely water resistant, and the ribbed exterior provides a sure grip no matter where you use them. The binoculars come with a neoprene strap and a durable high-quality carrying case.

These binoculars are perfect for the outdoorsman that wants high quality optic without having to lug around a heavy set of binoculars. These binoculars are brand new (not refurbished) and in the factory box.

The Barbados "Blackbelly" sheep is a breed of domestic sheep that originated in the Caribbean on Barbadoes island. Many say it is likely the Barbados Blackbelly has African ancestry, there seems to be clear evidence that the breed, as seen today, was developed by the people on the islands from sheep that was brought in by ships from the early Europeans settlers. They do not make great pets, however are excellant forage eaters like goats.

At one time we had over 125 head of goats; only to sell them all to expand our Barbado sheep heard. Like goats, Barbado sheep are excellant in keeping the grass and leaves trimmed back. However unlike goats, Barbado sheep do not seem to have that urge to place their head in the fence and get trapped. Anyone who has owned goats know exactly what I am referring to when I mention this comment.

Barbado generally are not friendly like a goat and tend to keep mostly to themselves. This fact makes it very difficult to round the heard up for vaccination or transport. It is recommended that you have a catch pen area to 'bait' up the sheep for these purposes.

Barbado sheep are a 'hair' sheep and do not need to have their wool sheared. During the year the sheep's hair will 'peel' back and begin fall off in large sections.

Barbado sheep cannot be wormed with the same wormer as goats. We recommend using a sulfur block and diatomaceous earth in their food source.

Barbado sheep cannot eat food that contain copper as it is toxic to them.

Barbado sheep are much heartier than goats and seem to fight off much diseases and worm infestations that typically will kill a goat.

Barbado sheep will typically give birth to 1 or 2 babies up to twice in one year.

Barbado sheep tend to grow off much faster than a goat, therefore allowing you to go to market sooner and save on your feed bill.

Barbado sheep tend to bring a higher price per pound at auction. Typically there are few Barbado sheep at the sale and when they arrive, buyers pay close attention.

Barbado sheep prices fluctuate depend on current market conditions.

In the end, if you are tired of burying your goats and looking for a great replacement; hands down - Barbado sheep is your animal!!

We have built an established reputation with our birds and proud ourselves in providing unparallel quality. If you are looking for clean water, the least amount of wet litter, easy maintenance and a system that will last when used a lot - HERE IS THE BEST SYSTEM OUT THERE HANDS DOWN!!!!!

No need to clean and water your chicken's waterer every day - just hook up the system and leave town knowing your birds will have clean water on demand!

Each system is tested before shipped to make sure drinkers work and no leaks are present. Your system will be brand new, but may some water in the lines from being tested before shipped.

**THIS SYSTEM IS DESIGNED FOR SOMEONE WITH A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM ALREADY INSTALLED - ALL YOU DO IS HOOK UP THE 5/16 WATER LINE TO YOUR LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM. **

THIS SYSTEM IS FOR THE POULTRY GROWER WHO WANTS A TROUBLE FREE SYSTEM THAT WILL LAST FOR YEARS!

I have been raising turkeys and chicken for years and have sought out to find the best automated watering system. I have tried almost every system out there only to find issues with each one as listed below:

	1) Little Giant dish drinker - birds knock water out of dish and it refills, the water becomes infected with manure / trash, and the adjustment on these can become tricky.I adjust them perfect one day to find them out of adjustment the next.

	2) Plastic dish drinkers that screw onto mason jars - birds knock these over, the water becomes infected with manure / trash, you have to manually fill them up with water each day, they build up algae pretty quick and they can become to shore to clean.

	3) 3 or 5 gallon drinkers - the water becomes infected with manure / trash, they require routine cleaning, and you have to manually fill the tank with water every 3 / 4 days.

	4) Nipple drinkers - you are tasked to create a seal from the PVC to the drinker (which is wear over time, the drinkers when they are used a lot tend to want to drip.

	5) Trough still drinkers with anti-roosting bars - the water becomes infected with manure / trash, algae builds and they can be a chore to clean.

WANT A WATERER THAT CAN BE SET UP WITH 10 MINUTES? This is the system for you! The waterer comes with everything needed to set up within minutes.Simply wire tie the waterer base to your pen, wire tie the hoses against the wire and hook with the hose to the regulator! How easy is that????????

HOW MANY BIRDS CAN I WATER?

Each system will sufficiently water 20 birds.

DO I NEED A LOW PRESSURE WATER SYSTEM TO USE THIS PRODUCT?

YES! This system does not have the regulator attached and will need to be used with a low pressure system. If you do not have a low pressure system - please see the other waterer with the regulator attached.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES WITH THIS SYSTEM?

	a) The biggest advantage is the ability to keep your chickens healthy and disease free by supplying them with clean water and dry litter. Wet litter increases the amount of ammonia in the air, which can be harmful to your flock.

	b) Easy maintenance - clean the system by screwing off the cups and rising them with water. One ¼ turn twist and the cups will slide off for easy cleaning.

	c) Adjustable height - simply wire tie the system to the wire wage at the preferred height for the birds.

	d) Small foot print - does not take up space on the floor of the pen and is mounted to the side, out of the way.

	e) Fully assembled and ready to install in less than 10 minutes&.simply hook up your water hose and wire tie the system to your cage. All needed supplies are enclosed.

	f) Constant clean water to your birds when they need it.

**THIS SYSTEM COMES COMPLETE WITH ALL HARDWARE AND READY TO INSTALL WITHIN MINUTES**

	5) Trough still drinkers with anti-roosting bars - the water becomesinfected with manure / trash, algae builds and they can be a chore to clean.

WANT A WATERER THAT CAN BE SET UP WITH 10 MINUTES? This is the system for you! The waterer comes with everything needed to set up within minutes. Simply wire tie the waterer base to your pen, wire tie the hoses against the wire and hook the garden hose to the regulator! How easy is that????????

HOW MANY BIRDS CAN I WATER?

Each system will sufficiently water 20 birds.

DO I NEED A LOW PRESSURE WATER SYSTEM TO USE THIS PRODUCT?

NO! The waterer comes with a regulator to convert your water pressure down to 5 lbs. All you have to do is hook up the water hose and watch your birds get all the water they need.

The Pressure regulator is set at approximately 8 PSI from off position to black mark. If changes are necessary, pull cap up and turn it counter clock-wise to increase or clock-wise to decrease.

WHAT IF I HAVE A LOW PRESSURE WATER SYSTEM ALREADY?

If you have a low pressure system already - then you would need to order this product without the regulator (see other waterer). All you need to do is hook up your current low pressure system to accept a 5/16 water line.

NOTE: THIS WATERING SYSTEM IS NOT TO BE USED ON WATER PRESSURES GREATER THAN 8 POUNDS.THE ATTACHED REGULATOR OR A LOW PRESSURE WATER SYSTEM MUST BE USED.
