We ordered 5 merriam poults last april and 8 months later they have grown to be the best pets we have on our 5 acres. They are so fun to have around, they never leave our yard and come running when I call. These merriams are my outdoor buddies allways fallowing me around the yard while I do chores and dont think twice to take a treat from my hand. Thankyou Richard for all your time answering my questions, your great service and my happy healthy Merriams. I just completed my order now for 4 more.

I purchased chicks from Richard and they were healthy and good looking. He was very easy to talk with and gave me whatever information I needed prior to the purchase. I would purchase from him again!

Richard is the best chicken breeder I've had the pleasure of working with. Unlike most I've encountered, he is not all about the money. It's the birds and the customers that concern him, and it shows in his business and his products.

Richard is a lovely friend and very honest too. We have grown to know each other well since November last year. He often phones up his "English Rose" to discuss birds with me. IN THE PURE BLACK THERE IS A SAYING THAT US ENGLISH USE ON THE COLOURING OF THE PURE BLACKS - "GREEN TO BE SEEN - AND BLUE IS TO BOO!!!" So if your blacks have blue in the feathering, it means that they are hiding another colour some generation away and that may not help you with furture breedings. Sandy
